Based off of the Three Fires council; The council is a long-standing Anishinaabe alliance of the Ojibwe (or Chippewa), Ottawa (or Odawa), and Potawatomi North American Native tribes. These Anishinaabe Tribes inhabit Michigan and the surrounding Great Lakes Region.
